New Beginnings of Central Arkansas



	About Us How We Began New Beginnings Church was formed in February 2003. Who We Are Our church is an inclusive community of faith whose members come from all walks of life and alternative lifestyles, drawn together to experience the love of God that we may in turn allow ourselves to become conduits of that same love, returning it manifold to the communities in which we live. What We Preach and Do Not Preach Our church preaches the love of God - which is the single most powerful force in the universe. Hatred, bigotry and intolerance are incompatible with the founding principles of our church and the Mission Statement that leads us in our journey of faith. Our Sunday Services Members of our congregation, church leaders from neighboring churches or other community members prepare and give a devotional each Sunday. Our worship services are a celebration of God's love for us and we use a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs, interspersed with member-led prayer. We offer time during the services for prayer requests of members and reports of praise for the mighty things that God is doing in our lives. Our Church Structure Our church community has chosen to form its structure around 5 areas of responsibilities that we have identified. Members were elected at large to form our church council. Church council meetings are scheduled monthly on the third Sunday, unless otherwise published in the weekly bulletin. All members are encouraged to attend. Directing Service (Music) Fellowship Worship Service Planning Outreach Building Church Finances We do not pass the collection plate at New Beginnings Church; however, all offerings are welcomed and very much appreciated. Monetary giving is determined by each individual member in the privacy and quiet of their heart ― giving is a personal decision between our members and their God. Our financial books are available and open for any member's inspection. Finance meetings are held quarterly, the first Sundays of January, April, July and October, unless otherwise published in the weekly bulletin. All members are encouraged to attend. Membership The requirement for membership in New Beginnings Church is quite simple: If you can embrace our Mission Statement, we welcome you to become a member.
